You like this bridge, I think, Henry.
By chance, I was glancing through a photography book not an hour ago in a local store, checking what it had to say about composition. There was an image of a bridge and the compositional element was a diagonal. So here, the photographer would have gone right up close, maybe to that small pavilion, and angled a shot to make the bridge appear as a diagonal right across the frame. Of course, then the photographer would have missed the heron in the river!!
