The-man-on-the-move

This is a very interesting shot, Henry. I think I know what you were trying to do, although it hasn't quite worked. You want to convey movement in the Dude and you want to use blur to that effect - fine - a Tv of 1/6 second looks about correct. However, I reckon you were hand-holding the camera and the background then is also slightly blurred. The answer, of course, is a tripod so that everything but the boy is in focus. Te other thing I might have done is be much further back and to rely on cropping the shot later for maximum effect. This is what I do with the cat shots and dog shots in my galleries. I think this is an excellent idea, and I reckon the Dude would play along for some experimental shots!
